I& #39;m so appreciative of the ICD-11& #39;s definition of adhd and the fact that they now align with the CPRD, just listen to this
[It& #39;s not you that has a disability bc you have adhd it& #39;s the result of having adhd symptoms when interacting w society that gives you these impairments
[It& #39;s not you that has a disability bc you have adhd it& #39;s the result of having adhd symptoms when interacting w society that gives you these impairments
In your experience of being a member of society in alignment with other people in society]
Like, this is such a great way of looking at people who experience impairments as a result of their adhd or any form of neurodivergency to begin with, its puts them forth as human first and foremost, fundamentally a being with feelings and varying experiences
Like, we may not be amazing in terms of how people are treating neuro divergent people but I think we& #39;re making strides in a great direction, no?
The [] quote is used to denote that I paraphrased an idea and it& #39;s not verbatim (I.e, sic) but nobody really has a conventional way of denoting that so I& #39;m sticking with square brackets.
