Times in (recent) history where Mars was retrograde in Aries:

1) Sept 6 - Nov 10, 1941
This is the beginning of the mandate for all Jews to wear the star of David in German-occupied areas. Obviously, mass deaths happened during this time and genocide was ramped up to new levels

Sept 11, FDR ordered any axis ship be shot on sight if it was found in American waters. Construction on the Pentagon begins. Sept 12 first German ship captured by US. Sept 23, first gas mass murder at Auschwitz. Sept 27, butcher of Prague appointed SS general.

so many unspeakable horrors in the Holocaust genocide happen during this time, I won't name them all. October 2, Germans launch attack on Moscow. October 15, Hideki Tojo becomes Japan's new Prime Minister. Oct 31, the desecration of the Sacred Black Hills (mt rushmore) completed.

Nov 1, Japanese naval staff officers arrive at Pearl Harbor. Their plan fails. They leave on Nov 5. Nov 6, US lends $1 million for Russian aide.

2) Sept 19 - Nov 25, 1973
This Mars RX actually began at 9 degrees of Taurus, but Mars moved back through Aries, to eventually station direct at 25 degrees of Aries. So really, if we focus on Mars RX in Aries, it would only be the last bit of November we're looking at here.

Nov 16 Alaskan pipeline begins. Nov 17 Nixon states "I'm not a crook" (lol) and the Greek regime attacks protestors and students with tanks. Nov 19, NY Stock Market drops sharply. Nov 21 reveals the 18.5 minute gap in the tapes related to Watergate.

3) Aug 26 - October 28, 1988
August 25 Iran and Iraq begin peace talks to end their 8 year war. The US tests nuclear weapons in NV. Aug 28, italian air force show crash kills 70. Sept 4, Mike Tyson crashes his BMW and begins seeing a psychiatrist. Hurricane Gilbert kills hundreds

Hurricane Gilbert is strongest hurricane ever recorded. Sept 18 sees a coup in Haiti. Israel launches first secret reconnaissance satellite. Junipero Sera (settlor who founded most CA missions) is beatified by the Pope. The Olympics happen full of drug scandals and injuries.

Gorbachev becomes the head of the Soviet Union. Chile ends Pinochet's 16 years of power. Israel and China reach trade deal. H.W. Bush and Dukakis have their second presidential debate. Britain begins cracking down harder on IRA. Philippine's first couple indicted on fraud.

As you can see with these three examples, many big events did happen that inextricably changed the course of world history. However, as you can see with the WWII example, the events during Mars RX were paving the way for what happened next. Pearl Harbor happened a month later.

The same can be said for the watergate scandal. The actual scandal was huge, but the fallout was much more influential to US history and Nixon did not leave office until Mars was direct. Same w 1988. The Berlin wall didn't fall until the next year, but events during Mars RX...

"started the fire" as it were. So keep in mind that we are living during a period of history right now where much will be happening behind the scenes and even in front of our faces that we won't fully appreciate the scope of until time has passed and we see the full picture.
