CW // Vent , Mental Illness , Bipolar Disorder

Okay wait a minute thinking on that last tweet and doing more research I might,,, actually have that disorder... I thought I had ADHD bc of a diagnosis and my behavior matching to the diagnosis but I think BD is what I REALLY got:

Basically Bipolar Disorder is when you have drastic highs and drastic lows. Like one day or week you can be absolutely in a good ass mood and you feel like ur on top of the world doing whatever and making many goals and having imagines of grandeur for your present and future

When you got lows, you feel like everything sucks and you don’t wanna live or do anything bc the world is bleak as hell and there’s nothing you can do about it. Those grandiose thoughts vanish and you can lose a lotta confidence like: “yeah why tf did I think I could do that”

When ur in ur manic phase you think nothing is wrong and that you’re “out of your sad phase” and you think ur manic phase is who you are and stuff so you don’t realize anything is wrong. (I fucking felt this because the amount of times I’ve been depressed for weeks and months

and then I’m randomly like hype as hell and happy and then tell myself “see?? You’re not depressed you’re just tired!!” has been a never-ending cycle for YEARS) Yeah I think I for sure probably have this. But let’s not just trust what my class told me and some google image.

To the DSM-5! Wouldn’t you know, Bipolar Disorder and ADHD are comorbid. Who’d’ve thought. TW // Suicide Mention

Yeah,,, I think I match the criteria almost to a T... I suspect I have Bipolar 2 because I have yet to have a fullblown manic episode as described in the DSM-5 (unless I have and just forgot) but hehdhdhdhd. Sorry for this thread guys I’m just tryna figure myself out. Yeah fuck

I think I’m genuinely Bipolar. I’ve joked about it for years just bc I know I have anger issues but actually looking into it yeah god damn I just might really be...
