Behavioral disorder don’t inherently make kids “bad” but seeing as what is considered “bad” is any non conforming behavior, or even sometimes “typical” behavior......

Like remember that little baby impulsively touching everything in that lil kitchen and people were being so evil under the comments asking for the kid to be whooped and shit cause that’s “bad” behavior. And guess what. Behavioral disorders can present like that

And then saying that behavioral disorders don’t make kids “bad” when “bad” is usually measured by what we can punish kids for — is a tad bit weird. Like the whole concept of what makes kids “bad” was giving ableism ANYWAY

So behavioral disorders can absolutely make kids “bad”, and that’s okay.

Half the time, kids being bad is not even really a thing of its own like that, and it may or may not involve behavioral disorders. Like the way we think every act of insubordination is “bad” anyways.....kids with disorders fall under that too
