Regardless of the bungled start to this whole thing, the US is now the undisputed king of COVID denial, downplaying the severity, suppressing numbers, and not giving a shit about its citizens.

While Wuhan was locked down, Western media was gleefully writing about how such drastic measures would never work. Flashforward to now, those dudes are having wave pool parties, but we can't even convince 60% of this country to wear a sheet of fabric over their damned face.
