@VitalikButerin - "Rollups are a different class, for L2 you need to scale computation and data availability. they are also very far along - running implementations! problems we weren't aware of are being solved"

@0xstark "will it be winner take all or many rollups"

@VitalikButerin - "unsure, but 1. there is a ton of demand and 2. each solution is exploring a different design space"

@VitalikButerin - "there are tradeoffs btwn privacy and composability"

@0xstark - "when do you expect base layer to stabilize"

@VitalikButerin - "generally, Phase 1.5. but there will be smaller improvements that are not substantive in terms of basic security properties"

@0xstark - "what should hackers build at ETHOnline?"

@VitalikButerin - " @metamask_io fork to support @loopringorg and @zksync. Channels btwn multiple rollups. @ensdomains on L2. L2 let you do many things not possible today. like social recovery, more user friendly features..
