1. UPDATE 2nd October
They say things come in threes....
We were very pleased, and somewhat vindicated, to hear the announcement from @trussliz confirming Self ID will not go ahead. But there remains work to be done.
2. The women of Women Uniting UK will continue to fight, quietly, tenaciously, to maintain and regain the sex-based rights of women and girls, that have been so damaged by the underhand activities of lobby groups.
3. It is clear, from the behaviour of certain MPs, that they thought Self ID was a 'done deal'. So many organisations have been encouraged to get 'ahead of the law', such that we have de facto Self ID in far too many spaces, services, and sports, where women and girls should
4. be able to be confident that only females will be present. We will be pushing back on this with all our strength and with all legal remedies that are available to us. Many court cases are in the pipeline.
5. We were also relieved to see the updated guidance from the @educationgovuk which makes very clear that phrases like 'born in the wrong body', and lobby groups that push their extreme agendas, must be neither seen nor heard in our schools. We will continue to raise awareness
6. of the gender ideology that is damaging our children, particularly our daughters, and root it out wherever we find it.

Finally, we were thankful to see the announcement of the
@Hilary_Cass enquiry into GIDS. Let us at last have a thorough and unbiased review of treatment
8. More and more MPs are listening, more and more teachers are pushing back on unsuitable political and ideological lobby groups having access to children in schools, more and more medics are speaking out about their concerns around the medicalisation of what are quite often
9. normal childhood feelings, more and more women from all walks of life are speaking out, despite the threats to their jobs and the physical threats they receive for believing that women are a sex class, not a feeling in someone's head.
11. Kiera's own personal case has been updated by the announcement of the Cass review:
“In the light of the decision of the NHS to conduct a thorough review of practice at GIDS my lawyers have advised me that my case would be unsuccessful. Judicial Review is a legal remedy
20. The EHRC has been quietly removing incorrect and unlawful guidance after being challenged by many women's groups, but this is not good enough; they need to tell everyone their guidance was wrong and issue correct lawful guidance and this week, thanks to Ann Sinnot
22. Thanks to FairPlay for Women, Dr Emma Hilton, Dr Ross Tucker, and many sportswomen, the sporting bodies are beginning to listen to the science, rather than the 'feelings'.
"I do feel guilty, but what can you do?" https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/49298550
23. Thanks to @SafeSchools_UK and many concerned parents, schools and education authorities have been withdrawing guidance that breaches safeguarding and teaches girls they must have no boundaries. They backed down rather than go to court to defend it, and again, they have
25. @Transgendertrd have forensically dissected some very questionable 'education' materials provided by lobby groups as well as getting the GEO to remove their endorsements from some of those materials. We have even seen the BBC remove links to charities who promote
26. questionable guidance around 'trans children', and the @NHSuk has changed its stance on 'puberty blockers', finally admitting that little is known about their long-term side effects and their effects on the child's brain development,
29. and introducing a so-called 'hate crime' law that threatens our very ability to even talk about these issues without being accused of a crime. The women of Wales are getting organised too.
@RhywFenyw @Cresisters and @MerchedCymru have joined our alliance.
30. Our political women are working from within their parties, building consensus, letting people know what has been going on under the radar for so long, building support among party members. @Baroness_Nichol continues to build cross party awareness in the House of Lords
31. and asks questions of ministers (and writes a very pithy letter when necessary). Women are now are being heard by others, including @LordPhilofBrum , @LordLucasCD , Lord Moonie, (sadly missed from Twitter and an early supporter) and recently @ZacGoldsmith
32. Questions are due to be asked in the Lords in the very near future and we will update you with the details.
We continue to highlight the work of @FiLiA_charity and @DeclarationOn who support women and girls worldwide.
33. Sadly, lesbians have been particularly badly affected by the framing of same sex attraction as 'bigotry', even being told to 'get over' their genital hang ups. @ALLIANCELGB and the Lesbian Rights Alliance are providing advocacy and support for for those who believe
34. that sexuality is not an 'identity'. Alliances across the world are being formed, and we welcomed @LGBAlliance_USA , and @LGBAlliance_CA with more to come.
35. The police continue to pursue women for tweets, facebook posts, and even stickers, that state biological and legal facts, but the general public are not supportive of their behaviour and the police are losing public trust; the regulatory capture of the police, above).
36. the judiciary, and the CPS is now openly being questioned (see SafeSchools case, and Harry Miller's case, in the crowdfunders above.
Sunlight truly is the best disinfectant.
37. To those who oppose us, know this; we will NEVER give up. We have fought hard and long for our legal rights, we WILL have them protected, and we WILL fight to our last breath to protect children from this dangerous ideology. Do not underestimate us,
