As soon as the President’s diagnosis came out the first thing that came to mind were all the packed, maskless rallies I’ve covered over the past few months and just how vulnerable all the supporters of his campaign are at these events.
Like this one Saturday in Middletown, PA.

Or this one in Swanton, OH on September 21st.

Or this one in Fayetteville, NC on September 19th.

Or this one in Mosinee, WI on September 17th.

And this one in Winston Salem, NC on September 8th.

And this one in Latrobe, PA on September 3rd. (This event also had an unbelievable overflow crowd where people were packed shoulder to shoulder).

That is just in the past month- and it’s only the rallies I’ve personally covered. There have been many more.

I wonder after this new development if the view of how the virus is handled changes at all.
