my (realistic) online school routine through instagram stories, a thread
8:20am— good morning! time to quickly get ready for class. don’t forget your sunscreen! even if you aren’t outside, the sun that filters through the windows and the light from your screens still affect you!

8:30am— on tuesdays and thursdays i have french literature in the mornings. it’s one of my most interesting classes and i enjoy it so much! (it’s even better having class in bed in my pajamas)
10am— at this point i’ll give myself a break and check social media, reply to texts and scroll through my emails. in today’s day and age, it feels nice being on top of things
10:30am— now is when i’ll head out of my room and chat with my roommates. it’s so relieving living with friends and being able to socialize even during quarantine
11am— after i’ve fully woken up for the day and have changed into loungewear, i’m ready to do my readings. with a full water bottle and a “study with me” video playing in the background, it’s so easy to study for hours
1pm— since i do intermittent fasting, now is when i’ll make myself a light meal. sometimes it’s fruit, other times it’s oatmeal - anything that’s easy to make and doesn’t require much time
2pm— back to classes! on this day i have my recruitment and selection class which i highly enjoy! it’s something i can see myself doing in the future, so i love learning about it
4pm— after class, i’m usually a little schooled out, so i spend an hour or so calling my family or amelia, going on youtube or scrolling through social media - anything to get my mind off of my responsibilities
5pm— back to work! before dinner, i try to finish as much work as i can, because i like to allocate the night time for myself
6pm— this is when i go on a walk which i absolutely adore, because the park near my apartment has tons of picnic areas, flower gardens and even animals! it’s so nice to get fresh air after being inside all day
7pm— dinner time! one of my favourite times of the day is when my roommates and i cook together and we catch up on our days. we share stories, talk about the news and just relax
8pm— after we’ve finished eating, my roommates and i will either put on a film or a youtube video, or grab some snacks and chat some more. i look forward to this everyday
10pm— something about being inside all day makes us super tired, so around this time is when we retreat to our rooms. this is when i do my daily workout followed by a stretch to end the day
11pm— time to get ready for bed! i’ll shower, brush and teeth and - one of my favourite parts of the day - do my skincare routine. i never go to bed without a sheet mask!

12pm— i never end a day without making a schedule for the next day and jotting down all the things i need to do in my bujo. i feel much more ready for bed knowing i have a plan for the next day. i’ll also text my family goodnight (because i’m the biggest homebody!)
