Very proud that New York and New Jersey have now launched Covid apps using the Irish app's technology. Northern Ireland, Scotland, Gibraltar, Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware have also launched apps based on the Irish source code, which we made available for free to others.

Ireland’s Covid Tracker App has been a great success. It can identify close contacts who otherwise would be unknown to us e.g. those near us on a bus, at a sporting event, or eating in a restaurant. 3,206 people have been alerted as close contacts through the app already.
