Hey, everyone, so with it now being October, I thought it'd be a good idea to use this annual opportunity to bring together the film, and specifically, horror community with an interconnected set of videos to bring attention to some of the smaller channels in this niche,
such as mine and many others. The past two years, many YouTubers in the larger film community, such as @NandovMovies, @sagehyden, and @michaeltuckerla have come together and made examination videos on specific scenes from superhero movies,
where they discussed elements from those scenes that particularly stood out to them and helped make them effective. The first example of this was called "One Marvelous Scene" as they examined Marvel films in particular.
Everyone who made videos also drew attention to why they were making their video and recommended other channels who were part of this collaboration. They also linked a playlist that had videos of everyone's contribution to "One Marvelous Scene."
I think it would be great for the horror community to try as well. We could approach other horror YouTubers and ask them to make a video where they talk about one scene in horror that especially stands out to them.
If they decide to contribute, their video would be placed in a playlist with other videos that are part of this as well. Everyone would recommend other channels and ask viewers to use the playlist as a sort of sample for different creators.
We could title it "One Horrific Scene" or "One Mortifying Moment" and everyone would put that in their title as well so viewers know and can clearly see that these videos are connected in some way before they even click on it, prompting their curiosity even more.
Each of us could then put a more specific phrase next to it to differentiate ourselves. For instance, I could say, "One Mortifying Moment | The Blood Test."
We would then agree on a specific date and time for everyone to post. My suggestion is some time towards the end of the month.
I think this could draw attention to many small channels that haven't gotten the boost they have needed to grow and I think with your help, this would become huge.

Thank you for at least considering it.
Please retweet, share, or tag this thread to creators you think might be interested. Since I'm mainly trying to help smaller creators, it'll be more difficult to find them without their fans. But with your help, I think many creators will get exposure they otherwise may not.
