1) I am going to make some points regarding Brexit and the future..

As an arch-remainer who believes Brexit is a historic mistake, the reality is that it happened on 31st January 2020.

2) A no deal after the end of the transition period is a catastrophe for our country. And even a thin deal is not as much different as people think it is

And we are losing our rights and freedoms across Europe. And massive and huge red tape will be the reality

3) When reality hits next year, even more people will realise what a disaster the Johsnon government doctrine really is for our country

We need to correct this as quickly as possible.

Is the correction #RejoinEU ? I would love it to be but not until at least a whole generation

4) So we have to look for a solution which can bring together those of us who voted Remain but also those who voted leave more due to the polticial aspects rather than the economic and social aspects; and help reflect the country overall a lot better.

5) And that solution is #EFTA like Iceland and Norway

@EFTA4UK is clearly now stepping up its efforts now. Is it too late? It is for 1st January 2021 very possibly but not necessarily even for the short term future.

6) There are so many advantages- we keep many of our freedoms and rights, it caters for those who did not want political integration, does not disrupt our EU trade, and still enables us to strike other trade deals independently.

7) As for freedom of movement, it always was and is for countries to use the clauses they are within that, it really is not a 'free for all' by any means

8) For remainers like me who did not want Brexit, + to those leavers horrified by this government's ideological crusade to ruin our country, it's time to join forces, put aside remain/leave, and unite on this.

I hope they really do highlight remainers and leavers uniting on this!!

This is the solution which can mean the country can move on.

The extreme Brexiters will ensure our country is diminished for decades to come.
