Lots of Americans didn’t study moral dilemmas in their Ethics classes and it shows
I once saw a very good moral dilemma play which I’m sure was written by an American. I can’t remember the title of it, but at some point someone wanted to make a movie starring Meryl Streep and Oprah. It’s the story of the mother of a brutal African warlord, who meets with...
...a doctor (the Meryl Streep character) to get poison to (maybe) kill her own son. Both women know that the warlord son will kill thousands more if no one stops him. Both women also know that the mother is the only one who still has the kind of access it takes to kill him. So..
...the play was two hours of these two women discussing, debating, arguing and crying over this moral dilemma. Should a mother be asked to kill her son and should she kill her son...to save the lives of many?

I wonder what happened to the movie adaptation.
