been thinking about this a lot lately - leaving the Garden as a symbol for life outside of the constraints of the Great Plan, a life in a world completely different from the one they'd once known, a life together on their own side
Anathema and Newt have their own version of leaving the garden - Newt reminding Anathema that she could hold her own future in her hands, if she chose to. [2/4]
Tracy and Shadwell have their own version of leaving the garden too, leaving behind their old selves to be together. [3/4]
but best of all is Adam literally leaving the garden, taking his very being into his own hands - not the Antichrist, only a regular human child with a dog he loves very much and friends who are waiting for him. how full of hope this show is. [4/4]
