I hope the music industry some of you have piped up to save is one which also provides safe spaces for women? If your only concern is the fact you can’t earn you can shut-up like you did for the rest of the calendar year.
True I’m not a fan of the government’s handling of things. But acting like if you can be financially remunerated out of this then all the other problems such as rape, institutional racism, bullying pale in comparison is a joke.
There’s been true consistent voices this year. I’ve seen the posts, RTs you know I haven’t take a break.

This past fortnight I’ve seen more music posts than ever before and it’s sadly only because their pocket has been affected.
Which proves the initial point.

I tweeted over a month ago. What is the music industry response to allegations of sexual abuse in the industry.

*crickets*

But you want to rave again?!

.....all you alright?!
Lots of figures knocking about of what the music economy makes. Not one appointment has been made in the area to tackle those problems. Just more dialogue to reinvigorate the “escapism machine”

Not shocking for me. But very sad for the groups who already said they were unheard
I’ll say it with my chest. I hope the industry never returns back to what it was and how it operates and if people lose jobs and money then so be it. Go tell that to women who have to watch their abuser arrogantly promote their new record with a feeling of invincibility.
Let’s fix those things first before we start raving. Any boardroom, any private conversation you get in with a musician..... bring it up. Make the news travel. Many hands make light work. This industry only knows of “community” when it’s making money. Otherwise you’re on your own
