"All lives matter" + "Not All Men"

Some of you still say this and think that you're not wrong.

So hear me out, idk if I should be proud about it or be ashamed of ever being on that side, but yes I was thinking like you guys too once upon a time. (1/n)

1. #DalitLivesMatter Yes, Brahmin, Dalit, Vaishya, Shudra, no matter what caste, race or religion, every life matters. That's right. But that is where the dynamics end for you. What's more to learn is that why are people just raising voice for Dalits when everyone should be(2/n)

equal. The bigger picture here is that in the current situation, the things are more fucked up and people are neglecting it because she was a DALIT. She was burnt because she was a DALIT. People with casist minds are letting it slide because she was a DALIT. (3/n)

And there are numerous DALIT rapes on day to day basis that we are so unaware about because it doesn't come into light at all, but now that we have learnt about it, it's our duty to take a stand for them. #DalitLivesMatter yes. So the other casts women's rapes don't matter? (4/n)

Yes they do, remember 2012? Nirbhaya? She was a Brahmin, can you top that? No. People spoke up, came together, protested and fought for her? Yes. Will we do it for women of any caste, race or gender? Yes. Then why only #DalitLivesMatter for now? (5/n)

Because there are some bloke heads who are neglecting because she was a DALIT, that's why the status of her being DALIT is brought in that even her life does matter. And millions of other Dalit lives along with her that's not spoken for. (6/n)

Part 2. NOT ALL MEN.

Yes I used to think this too, like some of you, yes it didn't trigger me because I have a trash mentality, no it triggered me because it took a mental toll on me "Why am I being called trash too when even am trying to help make it a better place? - (7/n)

Why am I not valued for being good? why do I get abused for something I didn't even do? will I ever be good enough? is my support of any worth?" Yes it did affect me but as I got to learn all these happenings around me I got to know the depth of it, how much severe it is (8/n)

Yes our gender has been trash not only to women, but also to transgenders and also to fellow MEN themselves, you get it? Exploitations, rapes, murders, crimes, shaming and so many things. And it's totally unresting if someone's not safe because of your mere existence. (9/n)

Saying All Lives and not All Men is wrong because it serves as a curtaining to actual point which needs to be raised and fought for, the urgency of the matter, the depth, the awareness & the emergency of fighting against something socially evil just to make things better. (10/n)

Yes all lives do matter, yes not literally every man is trash but there's an urgent need to stand for Dalits & women have been assulted enough by men for this things to be said and to be stood for. Just urge you all to be a better person so we never have to say any of these ever.

I came around, hopefully you will too, please just look into things on the bigger dynamics.

I've put this thread out in a hope that it inspires others and helps them to come on the better side and I just hope it pays off.
