In my experience, @WhiteHouse Chief of Staff, in coordination with @WHNSC CoS + others, has internal comms protocols in place to alert personnel ( starting w @POTUS ) about imminent threats to the compound in real time.

Any other former @WhiteHouse staff remember those alerts?

That’s so that personnel can protect themselves - not only bc their safety and health is critical to our national security.

A failure to alert the President would be a major departure from this standard operating procedure. A failure to alert WH personnel would be the same.

It would be tantamount to knowingly exposing mission critical personnel - not to mention so many other Americans - to a potentially fatal threat.

I can’t buy any explanation that says Trump didn’t know about Hick’s diagnosis.

And whomever chose to hide this threat reporting ( in real time) from WH personnel knowingly endangered his/her colleagues, their families, our national security and more.
