a 19 yo Dalit girl was gang r*aped and tortured (her tongue was cut and her spinal cord was broken) by 4 upper cast men and the cops burned her body without her parents permission

so that there would be no evidence regarding the rape accusations, the government is silent about the matter, media isn't allowed to cover it or talk to the victim's family and the DM even tried to pressure the family into changing their statements

people who were protesting against it we're detained and even dragged on streets for speaking up against r*pe. You guys remember #Blacklivesmatter and why it was important the same goes for #DalitLivesMatter
