Son had to start university on 21st Sept in UK

Amazed with my experience with @TheOfficialSBI with respect to @wemakescholars the education loan partner of SBI, was fully functional & operational

SBI perception falls flat

Next was visa & here too @VFSGlobal was prompt, fully operational & functional & we ended up receiving our visas in a record 5 working days @UKinMumbai

With the @MoCA_GoI initiative of air bubbles, @British_Airways opened up its Mumbai - London routes

All ready for travel

The @AAI_Official has made all facilitation for following social distancing norms, evident from the time you make an entry at @CSMIA_Official

Sanitization at important touch points, all personnel wearing masks & helping passengers to complete the baggage check in & immigration

Also good to see all passengers taking care while boarding with @British_Airways personnel providing face shields and PPE suits wherever applicable

Hope our behaviour while boarding does not change when things become normal, so used to the mad rush to board at the gates

Since the number of passengers were max 20% of capacity social distancing norms could be followed

Absolutely not sure how this will be implemented once flights resume on full capacity for long distance where usage of washrooms cannot be prevented

Definitely needs SOP's here

Landed at @HeathrowAirport & it looked like a ghost town, never seen so few people at the airport

Surprise, difference with regards to wearing of masks versus here in India

Wearing a #facemask is a recommendation & not a compulsion

Drivers of taxi services were exception

While coming back we had to upload our #COVID19 negative report on #airsuvidha portal & the approval was provided in flat 10 minutes

Congratulations in order for all officials of @MoCA_GoI & the minister @HardeepSPuri for the amazing online portal

When we landed back at @CSMIA_Official everything made easy, airport officials to guide you, information desks setup

Only one issue, we were asked to visit a place in Thane, before going home to get stamped for home quarantine

Felt this could have been done at the airport
