The audacity of our deafening hypocrisy in Nigeria will continue to haunt us negatively until we are ready to do the right thing, and cleans ourselves from within.

I was at Kubwa train station yesterday as early as 6.00am, same as many others

1/
who even got there before me. But to my chagrin, tickets were being sold for 5k outside the ticketing stand, and many others reserved for "Big men" who came much later and were entering into the terminal while they gave us that stare "na like this dey dey do am for naija".

2/
A lot of genuine people who came early to form a queue in that cold weather lost out in the tickets.

I have witnessed similar issues several times in same @NigeriaRailway kubwa station, which raises the patient question: are we really ready to emancipate ourselves from the

3/
Shackles of corruption?

Everyone graced with little opportunity try to demonstrate his or her prowess on corruption and shortchanging the system.

In the early hours of October 1st, Hashtags of different themes trended to show our common frustration, disappointment and

4/
furry on the numerous abnormalities in the country. Less than 24hrs later, we were all subjected to a test, and I can assure you, 90% of our youth who got awareness on that leakage woefully failed the simple test on our moral integrity.

Within hours, @MTNNG got ripped off

5/
millions of naira, if not billions by, the same Nigerians who perenially accuse our leaders of corruption and malfeasance in the public service. Laughable!

What happend to @MTNNG last night has further proven one thing:

6/
Corruption is more endemic at the lower cadre of the pyramid in Nigeria.

We must not be swayed by the sleaze gushing out of a flawed system. Same youth would go to the polling booths to sell their votes for 5k to an obviously unqualified candidate,

7/
and would turn around to accuse the country of not working. Excuse me. You sold your 4years for 5k so STF your stinking gutter up.

Until we are ready to do an internal cleasing, forget about it, big men will splash you water with their cars

8/
and would still go to buy a bigger car.

Nigerian Youths, emancipate your inner self first.

End.
