1. Have passion. Have a vision, it can be as huge as you want and work towards it. Work very very hard, often over many years, in your spare time and unpaid because you are driven to realising your idea.

2. Creating connections and relationships.
Do your research. Don’t be pushy, though you can be cheeky. Listen and respect, don’t expect. Be kind and generous always. Always be interested in them. It isn’t about what you want, it is about how you can work together.

3. Expectations etc
Don’t expect. Don’t be bitter. Be positive, be grateful, be hopeful. Be open hearted. Put your work out there, take risks & be prepared to fail and don’t be rocked by it. Always be open to learning. Some things don’t happen, but sometimes other avenues open.

4. Instinct, luck and serendipity.
All these things help. But at mostly if you are afraid and don’t take the walk to make your vision into a reality nothing will happen. Walk the walk.

Success isn’t all about luck. It rarely happens without all the above. Success isn’t always about the financial, it is about realising a dream or objective no mater how small or how audacious. It is step by step. From getting out of bed and beyond.
