Gandhi exposed as a racist, casteist, misogynist, etc: a thread
Gandhi believed in the Aryan race supremacy, same as Hitler. He did not fight racism when he was in South Africa. The truth is, he only fought for Indians to be given the same rights as whites, but strongly believed Indians to be better than Africans, whom he considered inferior.
Remember the story of Gandhi being thrown out of a train because he was against racism? Actually, he wanted access to the whites class because he did not want to travel with blacks. In South Africa, he only fought for Indians to given the same rights as whites, not against racism
In his own writings, he called whites as the "predominating race", & Africans as "troublesome, very dirty, live like animals". He was a racist till the end. He used the extremely derogatory term k***** till 1914, the year he left South Africa

Gandhi was also a misogynist. When two of his women followers in SA were se×ually harassed by a man, he responded by forcibly cutting their hair short to ensure they did not invite any se×ual attention. Gandhi believed women surrendered their humanity the minute men r*ped them
Gandhi believed Indian women who were r*ped lost their value as human beings. He argued that fathers can be justified in k¡||¡ng daughters who had been se×ually harassed for the sake of family & community honour. Gandhi also labelled Indian women who used contraceptives as wh0r*s
Gandhi when speaking about his own wife, said "I simply cannot bear to look at Ba's face" and even compared her to a cow. He denied penicillin to his wife when she came down with pneumonia. She died due to the disease. Just years later, he took quinine to treat his own malaria.
Gandhi believed menstruation was a distortion of a woman's soul by her se×uality. Gandhi would even sleep & bathe naked with Sushila Nayar, his secretary's sister who was half his age. He was in his 70s when he would sleep naked with Manu & Abha, his 18-year-old grandnieces.
Gandhi was also a casteist. While he did not practice untouchability, he was a staunch believer of the caste system. He would write against untouchability in the English newspapers read by the educated, but would defend the caste system in his local Gujarati newspapers.
His most casteist self came out during the Poona Pact when he refused to give separate electorates to Dalits. He threatened to die by hunger strike unless Dalits are denied their voting rights. This resulted in Dalits not getting the same rights as Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, etc
Gandhi is considered to believe in non-violence, but his followers threatened Dr Ambedkar with death threats unless he signed the Poona Pact. Gandhi did the worst form of coercion by threatening to die & inevitably unleash violence on Dalits unless their voting rights were denied
Gandhi is credited with giving India freedom, but the truth Is India didn't get freedom because of a man who would starve himself everytime he was denied his wishes, India received freedom because European colonizers could not afford to rule over Asian & African colonies post WW2
36 Asian & African colonies were granted autonomy or freedom post World War 2 in the next 15 years, including India. Congress brainwashed us with the narrative of Gandhi being the sole freedom fighter to make us believe that we are indebted to Congress & Gandhi for our freedom
"Gandhi was an episode in the history of India, never an epoch-maker. His memory is kept up because Congress party annually gives holiday on his birthday, has a celebration every year for seven days a week. Otherwise, Gandhi would have been long forgotten" - Dr B R Ambedkar
"Mahatmas have come, Mahatmas have gone, but the Untouchables have remained the Untouchables"

- Dr B R Ambedkar
