Go through another one of their experiments. Now, Kat stood in the middle of the room as they drew a circle in mid air using their magic to make the vines fetch them another pod as the vines did, The vines slit open the cocoon and a witch drops from the floor

"Well, Test Subject #840. Pleasure to meet you" Kat uses numbers on their test subjects just so they don't grow attach to them. The reason why they usually don't let anyone live is because they know deep inside them that they'll grow attach to them making it hard to kill them
"You'll be one out of three people who are going to be testing out a new technique for me" The test subject tries to scramble back and cast magic on Kat but to no avail as the yellow goop in the pod are used to deplete a witches bile sack so just in case...

Someone doesn't fall asleep, they'd just die from starvation or suffocation which ever works best for Kat. Kat draws a circle only for vines to pop out of the ground using it to secure the test subject as Kat starts talking again, "Lets start, shall we?"

Kat takes the pepper from the table as the test subject squirms but yell out a cry as the thorns from the vines pierce their skin, "Now, now. Don't be too feisty or you won't get killed like how I want you to" Kat with the use of vines props open the mouth..

And forces the test subject to eat and swallow the pepper using the vines to once open their mouth to close it wrapping itself around their face as the test subject soon tries to grasp for air..
