A few things are getting clearer about #Covid19 in #ukhighered - there are now many cases as @ucu predicted (esp in halls of residence), there is some more private university testing, there are a smattering of data dashboards appearing which is good to see

But the links between these are still unclear - most universities are not tracing, so can you add these private tests to the serco test and track app? Are local PHE tracing?And how are universities going to balance rising numbers from their testing and their reputations?

Unless universities increase transparency to report number of tests, and positivity rates, as well as cases they are going to struggle to maintain trust. And they need to do more on tracing too esp as many are excluding classrooms as potential transmission sites
