Trump catching COVID-19 is not a good thing. I am sad to see so many people celebrating this because we should never be celebrating the loss of life or the sickness of others.

1. Trump passes. He is older and even with the best medicine in the world it is still possible given his age. This means Mike Pence gets sworn in but he isn& #39;t on the Nov ballot. We can& #39;t vote for him directly. What do we do? Delay the election?
2. Biden gets COVID19 from Trump...

..Then what if Biden passes? Does Harris move up? Would it be Bernie? We& #39;d certainly have to delay the election like in scenario 1 because the ballot is full of dead people. But lots of people already voted? Do their votes not count?
3. Trump could become too sick to debate or..

.. campaign normally. This would likely massively swing the election towards Biden but also prompt a bajillion conspiracy theories.
4. Biden is too sick to campaign and his election campaign falls apart. That& #39;s chaotic in and of itself because right now the polls are strongly...

..in Biden& #39;s favor. There would certainly be left wing conspiracies too and potential claims of "poisoning" their candidate.
5. What if Trump is asymptomatic, recovers well, and then says that is evidence that corona is weak or not serious. A statement like that costs lives.
