why this *could* be fake:

a) there are already expectations that there won’t be another debate
b) it’s close enough to the election that essentially the campaign could be over for him
c) no one will be asking about white supremacy, his taxes, his finances or anything else.
d) trump never has to legit lose an election (that he was — by all accounts — about to lose) if he falls ill (and however they rectify that re: the oval)
e) what a way for him to discredit a loss on that first tuesday in november.
f) additionally, donald trump has literally had every medical releasing about his health questioned because they were outrageous. this is an easy thing to question.
g) trump just had the worst week he’s had in a long time, w/ no real pivot out. we all now know he owes $400+ million w/ no way to pay it; he’s not paid any kind of taxes that he can justify; we’ve all seen he’s he told us one thing and the irs the direct opposite re: his money.
h) hope hicks is their comms leader. this would be a brilliant pr plan to throw away the election for a failing campaign.
i) also, how mad could putin be if trump got the covid and whatnot?
**if** this is a hoax, trump will:

a) recover, unscathed, “wasn’t so bad.”
b) resign, pass pence the oval, fade away for a while
c) and/or, lose the election, claim he didn’t stand a chance bc he was ill. “oh well, guess i can go.” he doesn’t want this job.

also, the brilliance of this *could be* at the very least it dominates the next two/three weeks of the news cycle. it slows down the stories about his taxes, his debt, his (insert october surprises) in the final weeks of the election, his campaign is no longer hemorrhaging daily.
he could use it to either gracefully leave without losing, or he can somehow fight the election, complain it should be delayed.
