My unsolicited advice to @POTUS Mr. President, please make the following statement to the WHCA: "I am making the following statement at this time to clarify my position on certain matters once & for all. Going forward, I will not answer repetitious questions about these matters.
When warranted, I will respond with three words - "asked and answered." This is my statement: I strongly and unequivocally denounce and disavow any and all groups of whatever race, ethnicity, or religion that believe and/or preach that any racial, ethnic, or religious group is
superior to or inferior to any other group, and/or preach and encourage hatred for members of any group based on their race, ethnicity, natural origin, religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity. There should be no place in our country for any group or platform that demeans
any human being on the basis of their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity, and does not recognize the intrinsic worth & value of each & every person. Going forward, I will not accept the designation of any group or persons as white
supremacists or racist by anyone, including the media, the press, Democrats, Republicans, think tanks, academics, politicians, celebrities, or others, until I have confirmed to my own satisfaction that the designation is a fair & accurate one. It is unfair & unreasonable to label
anyone as a white supremacist or a racist for personal or political reasons, rather than on objective, verifiable evidence & information that support labeling them with those damning terms. Let me be crystal clear. I abhor white supremacy. I abhor
racism. I abhor religious intolerance. I abhor discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity. I abhor any type of hatred based on a person's immutable characteristics. I believe every person has the right to live life fully, free of hatred for being who they are.
Finally, let me be clear about the issues of law & order, & private militias of any & all races & political persuasions. I always prefer that civil disorder & criminal activity be handled by law enforcement. They are the professionals, and they know what they are doing.
Private citizens should not try to enforce the law. I therefore ask all persons to stand down & let the police do their job. I urge local government leaders to let the police do their job, and to be mindful of the fact that if people are scared, feel vulnerable, and don't see
police, private citizens may see a need to step in to save people or property from injury & damage. But that should always be the choice of last resort. If police are empowered to do their job & protect the public, there will be no need for armed citizens or militias. Thank you.
