What was great today in the panel I was on was the beginning - the least productive part of the conversation was talking directly to the LP.

I brought up that conservative money and influence had slowly corrupted LP, and asked how much of that was still there...

... and instead of answering the fucking question, I got back that because the VP and P ~CANDIDATE~ were allegedly principled, none of the rest of the history of the LP was relevant.

When they asked me to name a policy that had been corrupted, I mentioned lack of NAP support...

... I did this as one of many examples I could bring up (and brought up later in the stream).

They claimed it was "only one" guy, and not representative of the LP. Well which fucking is it? Is a VP/P candidate representative of LP, or is it only when *you're* running?...

... Then, when they accused me of not making a point and I repeatedly asserted I did (cause I did) I was told "my time is precious", and that he's "reaching out to thousands of people" while I'm in my "basement" doing nothing.

Fuck that trash-elitist bullshit. Grassroots, yo...

... If you're not willing to answer to the mistakes of a group, don't represent it. Simple as that. Don't act superior to activists engaged in other forms cause you're in politics now.

This is the kinda tactic that should be reserved to Partyarchs, not a "tHiRd OpTiOn"...
