ok in any other platformer i would see an enemy in my way and be able to react accordingly but here nope! run straight into it :) why are all sonic games like this

whats the point of having a ring count if you go back to 0 upon one hit even if you have 100+ and some of them are LITERALLY UNREACHABLE once they fall out your pockets might as well just have one ring if thats what its worth
