🔥Key Takeaways🔥
For friends trying out startups or new field of study, you all can learn alot from the current @lionsdenkxip team setup. Both Kumble and KL are new in their roles, they started of with correct ideas, & XI yet they lost the match... 1️⃣
Next match, they dropped a personal who had an off day in the earlier match. They won. They went into the next, lost due to one freak innings. They changed the roles of their personals this time & made one strategical change. Result: they lost again... 2️⃣
Firstly, As a leader, your ideas should define your work not the end result. Your ideas should be focused on the long term goals & not on one small result. One bad result cannot define your idea & the best way to test your idea is by giving the idea some time & breathing space.3️⃣
Second is to define roles and responsibilities to each personal that you think shall help you achieve your long term goal. Stick with them. Don't fiddle around, be fickle, & chip & change based on small outcomes. That creates confusions, & chaos... 4️⃣
Since, of all the roles that leader have, the main role for a leader to create clarity & mitigate chaos-like environment for his employees. While it is tough to "estimate" the correct time period in real life. In cricket though, We have seen a capt like "Dhoni" who plays a XI..5️⃣
..keeping the finals in the mind. He sticks with those personals and gives them enough clarity about their roles. Slowly, you see the X he play come into the groove & by the time the final comes, his X chosen one's are all ready for a kill.6️⃣
He does this because there is no surity about whether your plan would work in 1st match or not. What you are sure about is the team you have & the role they can play in the team. Rest of the things don't matter to him bcz they are not under his control. 7️⃣
So, I do hope KXIP go back to the team they played in the 1st game. Give the team enough surity and continuity to the XI they will be playing here on. And I hope you guys have got some learning & soul searching from this thread. Thank you. 8️⃣
