Okay! I'm doing a horror movie every night for October this year. This will be a thread to keep track. We start the month with the 2015 German psych horror We Monsters, the American remake of which comes out next week. Let's go! #horrortober #Horror31 https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/we_monsters
I can't believe it's day 2 and I was on Twitter too much to have time to watch a horror movie
Okay day number two is LIFE the harrowing 2020 movie starring me, with a supporting cast of the rest of the world
Okay, I suppose day number 2 was TECHNICALLY American Murder, the Shannan Gilbert doc on Netflix which was really very well done and chilling. I'd highly recommend it. Essentially a found footage movie as a documentary.
For night 3 of #horrortober we are doing the brand spanking new ALONE, a survival cat-and-mouse thriller, which is a genre I always enjoy. I know, night 3 and still no "conventional" horror...maybe tmrw night Slumber Party Massacre? https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/alone_2020_2
Ok I haven't been updating this thread but I HAVE been watching horror movies. Night 4 was the 2011 remake of The Thing, which was new for me bc I first watched it in an alcoholic blackout and couldn't remember it. It was good! I liked the creature design and body horror elements
And Night 5 was the new Shudder flick The Deeper You Dig, which was a surprising, weird, very well done indie horror film that has a unique and special tone bordering on but not crossing into Lynchian territory. Highly recommend! #thedeeperyoudig
