Dembele is one of the hardest players to play against in the game. Reason being you don’t just know where he’s going to turn next. As comfortable going wide as he is cutting in on both flanks, add his elite dribbling ability and pace to kill and you have one very scary player
He’ll tear the league apart if he stays fit. Just needs pruning in certain aspects of his game and good decision making to make him a rounded wideman. He’s still a very very top player. Needs to get his mind in the right place when 1v1 i.e be output oriented rather than -
Unnecessary fake shots to humiliate the opponent. His main aim should be ‘How can i directly threaten the goal or be productive’ not embarrass the opposition full back. He’s a cracking player. Just needs his mind in the right place.
He’s probably already a more adept dribbler than Sancho (only just) but Sancho produces output week in week out. That’s where they’re miles apart.
Either will be a massive upgrade for United. Sancho should be first choice however. He’s very much the finished article. Dembele on loan is a more than suitable backup if the Sancho deal breaks down.
