(Long) Phrasing everything in one post can be difficult, a lot of my posts I try to write in a way to try and make sure someone with ZERO knowledge on paraphilia's, attraction or anything we discuss understands.

Most people do minimal research so making a point has to be quick>
>Or people will lose interest. Not many people are too willing to look into threads, research papers or whatever. Quick, direct to the point tweets will have the biggest chance to impact someone's viewpoint.

Even if that is frustrating, it is what it is.>
>I deleted some tweets that oversimplify things, I keep falling in that trap that I dumb issues I know properly down too much for different audiences.

I know a lot of people will think "But I read threads!" And I have noticed maps DO look through my thread but>
>I already reached them. For a big part I also want to gather people that haven't picked a side due to a lack of knowledge.

Everytime I did research someone and I asked what made them take the first step it always something more simple. People need to learn their ABC's>
>Before they look deeper into the issues. Starting at the end and well again, unfortunately most people will refuse to research, which you could argue is ignorant and/or lazy. But to get anywhere we have to play into reality, even if it's uncomfortable or annoying>
>I don't expect this thread to be received too well seeing as maps tend to have little issue reading through everything.

Yes I understand I can't simplify issues too much to make it more digestible for outsiders that's the point of this thread, it's difficult to balance>
>So I thought I would explain why some posts are a bit more...Off. Obviously I do appreciate people pointing it out! It means I slipped up! It all has to do with my target audience, obviously positivity maps, but also easy and digestible information for others.
