🎃 This is going to be my Halloween movie thread 🎃

It's tradition in my household to snuggle with the cats and watch a movie every night in October.

I steer away from classics generally and focus on new films because I LOVE horror and discovering new movies is my fave!

👻
October 1st: The Loved Ones.

I've seen this movie before, but it was DEFINITELY worth a rewatch.

It takes the prom night trope and adds weird and fresh twists to it.

It's very gory, so be aware of that. But I really rate this film.

October 2nd: Us

I LOVED this so much. The tension. The acting. The story.

So. GOOD.

I can't recommend this enough.

October 3rd: Pet

This was a WEIRD one. Dominic Monaghan's accent was terrible but it's always awesome seeing Ksenia Solo on screen.

This movie definitely had a few twists and I like that it stayed away from being predictable. It was fun to watch, but mostly just ok.

October 4th: Urban Legend

This movie was so dumb and SO FUN. I loved the little comedy touches and the knowing use of tropes.

Also this gets points for being peak 90s.

October 5th: What Keeps You Alive

Ok so, this movie started out PERFECTLY. A lesbian couple living out their forest core fantasy ...then it got horror.

It was an interesting watch and I liked the premise but there were just TOO MANY twists. It got a bit dull.
