BONNIE HENRY ANNOUNCED THE NUMBER OF TESTS DONE AS PART OF HER 3PM PRESS CONFERENCE

BE STILL MY HEART
82 new cases of #COVID19 announced in B.C. today — but with more than 10,000 tests conducted, that's a positivity rate of under 1% for the first time since July 29.

Active cases down to 1,261.

Today's chart.
The fact that average daily cases have been gently trending downward, even with the number of tests done a day increasing fairly rapidly, is a really good sign for B.C.
It's a good question!

But it's one we can't really answer unless we have the number of asymptomatic people tested daily over several months.

All we can say is confirmed cases are going down slightly even with thousands more daily tests being done. https://twitter.com/d3vorgi7a/status/1311793784158523393
