how i lost 4kg/9lbs in a week: a thread
disclaimer! everybody has different body types and everyone’s body looses weight differently. keep in mind that what worked for me may not work for you.
at the time, i had a bmi of around 21. i also have an average metabolism so i am able to lose weight without a plateau because i am very active because of sports.
i ate under 500 cals
- when i ate, i would eat very clean foods; apples, plums, sweet potatoes, salads, eggs, fruits. i didn’t eat anything unhealthy at all this week
- the ‘unhealthist’ thing i ate this week was a sandwich with tuna and salad which was around 350 cals
intermittent fasting
- i fasted for about 26 hrs two days this week!
- i would fast for 16-18 hrs a day and then eat a meal around 3-6pm
- i would eat one meal and maybe a healthy snack afterwards if i was feeling really hungry
sleep
- i slept 10 hours each night, i would force myself to go to bed early
- sleeping burns calories and is good for weight loss
- i took a nap everyday too, usually for one to two hours. sleeping and napping helped me keep my mind off food
no stress
- i was not stressed at all
- school and life wasn’t stressing for me because i didn’t have any big dead lines
- i stayed stress free by finishing my work ahead of time to avoid becoming stressed
water
- i drank at least a gallon of water a day
- it made me use the bathroom a ton
exercise
- i walked 15k steps a day; i would walk around in my room and walk after every time i ate
- i did the alexis ren ab workout every day in the morning and at night
- i would also add on other workouts if i felt up for it; chloe ting’s ab workouts, emi wong’s leg workouts
+ exercise
- i did a hiit workout three times this week
- i would do about an hour of hiit workouts even though i needed to take breaks
- i used chloe ting, madfit, and fitness blender’s hiit workouts
- i would do zumba w my cousins twenty minutes a day
detox
- i drank a shot of apple cider vinegar every single morning
- i also drank green tea every night which works as a laxative for me
- i ate plums which are also a natural laxatives
cold showers
- i took freezing showers every morning and night for ten minutes a day
hungry suppressant
- i would drink iced coffee every time i felt the urge to binge or eat
- i drank at least three cups of iced coffee a day
- my recipe: instant coffee, cinnamon, almond milk, ice, stevia. which was about 15-25 cals
- sleeping also helped
that’s it! i continued to low restrict afterwards :)
