I don't know who isn't listening to this yet, but NEVER FUCKING USE BIOMETRIC SECURITY ON YOUR DEVICES. Put a password, pin, or pattern. Then don't use iPhone for sensitive content, and encrypt everything you can.
Also for the love of God, if you are a protester or attend protests as medics, security, comms, press, Marshall's, or organizers, stop using discord or telegram!
No matter how legal your behavior is and good your intentions are, you're putting the lives of others at risk if you don't practice good security.
No single tool or platform is ever truly secure, your best bet is always to make it more difficult for those who wish to compromise you and get as close to secure as possible, even though that's often inconvenient.
