With this weekend's s2 premiere of the martial arts epic #WarriorMAX, a decade of better-than-they-needed-to-be Cinemax pulp dramas begins its ending. The piece also talks about how frustrating it is that none of these fun shows are on HBO Max (though this is apparently in the process of changing), which is why I had to buy the second Strike Back episode just to make this gif of the first of many bonkers action scenes:

Quarry doesn't get talked about as much as the other Cinemax shows (to the extent that anybody talks about any of them), but among the things I liked was how clear the action always was, even in darkness, like this late night shootout:
