If you are an American Desi and you& #39;ve never had a conversation about caste at home, or never felt the presence of caste in America, it& #39;s probably because you are benefitting from your caste privileges.
Casteism amongst Indians is well and alive in America and often presents itself in discrimination based upon names, diet, and class status.
