From multiple major hurricanes and tropical storms in the south to devastating wildfires in much of the
west, back-to-back massive disasters have kept thousands of @RedCross volunteers working for weeks to provide food, shelter and comfort to tens of thousands of people in need.

Over the past several weeks in response to the Western Wildfires and Hurricanes Laura and Sally, we have, w/ help from partners:
Provided nearly 782.5k total overnight stays in
emergency lodgings
Served 2 million+ meals & snacks
Distributed 278.6k relief items

Last (Wednesday) night, we and our partners cared for 18,100 people in hotel rooms and shelters across 5 states, and some 1,900 Red Crossers are supporting disaster relief efforts on the ground or virtually. That includes more than 20 from Southeastern PA.
