Right. One horror recommendation a day from me in October because #ScaringIsCaring. Let& #39;s start with a no brainer. Host on Shudder. Because you deserve perfect scares this month.
Day 2 of #ScaringIsCaring and I& #39;m sticking to found footage. Hunt down the excellent @DeathofaVlogger on your favourite VoD service.
It& #39;s a few years old now but Southbound is a brilliantly nasty little anthology flick that& #39;s woven together nicely. It& #39;s not perfect but makes for excellent rainy Saturday night horror watching on Day 3 of #ScaringIsCaring
Day 4 is get one schlocky Halloween haunt gone wrong recommendation, get one free. Haunt is a vindictive little horror treat from the writers of A Quiet Place, and Hell Fest is a fun slasher that deserved more attention. The latter is on UK Netflix. #ScaringIsCaring
Maybe it& #39;s cheating but Day 5 of #ScaringIsCaring was The Haunting of Bly Manor. This ISN& #39;T another Hill House. It& #39;s very different but still wonderful.
Ahead of seeing Neil Marshall& #39;s new horror movie, The Reckoning @FrightFest this month, day 6 of #ScaringIsCaring is just one of my favourite horror films of all time, The Descent. True claustrophobic terror.
Because October apparently comes at you fast, I& #39;m a day behind with #ScaringIsCaring. But day 7 is the 2018 Halloween which is on UK Netflix. Some brilliant scares and a nice aggressive realignment of the franchise. Oh, and Jamie Lee Curtis is perfect.
I recommend this every year but it& #39;s only because #ScaringIsCaring. Hellhouse LLC is absolutely one of my favourite modern found footage movies. AND it& #39;s another Halloween haunt gone wrong. It& #39;s also on Prime Video so perfect for Day 8.
