Now that Steve is the newest Smash Bros fighter, here's your friendly reminder that Markus Persson, (Notch) the original creator of Minecraft is a racist, homophobic and transphobic person and shouldn't be recognized as being a good person.

And don't worry I know he isn't involved with the game anymore. If you want to thank someone, thank its current creators such as @jeb_

And also I'm not opposed to Steve being in smash. I think he's a great addition!

The main point of this tweet was to educate people who might get into Minecraft after playing as him in smash who might not know what Notch did, and so the people who currently work on the game are thanked instead. I am in no way against Minecraft or Smash.
