This is the term to use to describe the state of not recovering from #COVID19 after 4 weeks from onset of symptoms. Here we state why:

2/3 The case for #CountLongCovid
As long as #LongCovid is labelled as anecdotal, it will not be taken seriously, and public messaging will largely neglect it. We need to quantify it properly & accurately. We need to measure recovery from #COVID19 @nature https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-020-02335-z">https://www.nature.com/articles/...

3/3 The case for properly counting probable #COVID19 cases.
We #CountLongCovid by having infection case definitions that are not entirely based on lab confirmation to form the denominator for recovered cases & by that we count those who don& #39;t. @TheLancet https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736(20)31823-7/fulltext">https://www.thelancet.com/journals/...
