I’ve got a question that I just considered based on this Peggy situation, and I’m gonna throw it to you guys.

When an artist is accused of r*pe or sexual misconduct, and the evidence is substantial, how should other artists who have songs featuring said artist move forward?

Example: Injury Reserve has collaborated with JPEGMAFIA in the past. The song is already available, but let’s say they wanted to release physical copies or a digital re-release of the project the song is on.

Do they remove the verse? Or does that taint the artistic vision?

(This is assuming Peggy did it, obviously. If it comes out that he didn’t, this example is null.)
