Over sharing on social media is a lot. Yes, I understand. I was quick to judge a family member who went through a similar experience as Chrissy. Who did the same thing. I thought “Why is she doing this?!?”
But after I saw how many women resonated with her story. How many women lifted her up. And how many women gained strength to carry on because of her strength, I understood.
Losing a child is something that unless you went through that yourself, you can’t say how you would respond. We have the luxury of looking back at baby shower pictures, and taking way to many pics of our kids day in and day out. Some moms only have pics of those final moments
Greif is very isolating. In the moment, it feels as if you are the only person in the world who ever went through your experience. Even though you know that isn’t true, the mind will trick you into believing it is.
Today let’s have some grace for Chrissy Teigen. My heart goes to all the moms out there that are dealing with the grief of losing a baby ❤️
