Windy is guilty of loving a particular version of Spurs. Might be romanticised and it might be flawed. People often dig at me for saying that what Poch gave me was better than anything I've felt as a Spurs fan. Then I get told he gave us nothing. NOTHING. Because no cups = no joy
I think Chris was just illustrating how much Poch did actually give us, if you care for all that togetherness fluff. Swapping it for 10 trophies is a bit too much and I'll slap him for saying it when I next see him. Maybe even give him a common cold (not COVID, I aint an animal).
I think there's a few of us that are struggling with Mou. I continue to flip flop, but I do believe much like some of us wanted Poch out after 6 months because nobody could work out what he was doing - we should give Jose time to prove he has what it takes at a club like Spurs.
Ironic that Levy is backing Jose but then Levy is backing the brand and the brand is bigger with Jose at the helm rather than a broken Poch. Football is fast food fast thesedays and new coach in quickly tends to galvanise quicker than a coach trying to fix up.
Jose will probably win us a cup. Those I will continue to fight that bang on about how winning is EVERYTHING. Well it is, but only if you enjoy all that comes before it. Good example is those mugs down the road. They moan and bitch and proclaim disdain for 95% of the season...
....they hate themselves and their club. Then they win a cup final, a single day out and what...that's the fix? It's like an addict begging for drugs for a week and then stealing a single high on the Sunday evening before wallowing in self pity again.
I think my point is, our identity - as supporters - that thing that we once took for granted is pretty much fading. Customers/client ID's...football means something different to each of us. That's it.
Also. I would like to say that when I've highlighted people I disagree with and retweeted with emoticons and whatever, I'd like to hope that I aint bullying or subtly asking for people to gang up on that person or people. Tbh, the people I tend to clash with can...
...look after themselves and bite back. I personally retain the right to call them twats. Miserable miserable twats. They are nothing like me. But that's cool. Would be boring right if we all got along? But...something to remember...some dont cope well with it. On both sides.
Go back 6-8 years or so (whenever Spurs Twitter turned to hatred) and often people would carefully target people and get others involved in a way that was never to gauge opinion or discussion. Some people haven't forgotten and can probably sense it so they cant be arsed with it.
There is no rule on here, not really. Do what you want. Attack people if you want. Dont worry if they block.

Anyways. Fuck this needy bullshit.
