Lindor comparing himself to Betts after the end of the year year (and year overall) he just had is one of the most frustrating things about him.

I love Lindor. But he's so much like Lebron in the "me" aspect I hate it.
#Indians #OurTribe
Look, I get being confident and players wanting paid is totally fine. But maybe not compare yourself to a player much, much better than you after you played like crap when your team needed you most. Maybe try and prove you want to be here instead of always talking about the after
Lindor has had his eyes on free agency for years now. Has been tripped up in questions and essentially confirmed he doesn't want to be here in Cleveland and wants a bigger stage.

Again, that's fair...but it's frustrating as a fan.
And for all the team player talk with Lindor and how he's a great leader...the guy sounds like he forced his way back into the leadoff spot, which was never a fit for him. He was hitting perfectly well until the switch.

Was that the deal breaker for season? No. but it hurt...
The #Indians will not be a better team in 2021 without Lindor. But as much as it pains me to say, I think the organization could be stronger for it, and not just cause he's sure to walk after season. Indians can't afford me-first players. Need to get to a Rays level mentality.
I said this before the season, but the #Indians need to turn attention to a Jose Ramirez extension. Sure they could just ride it out with him (the Rays way I mentioned) but giving him a Yelich type deal could work here too. Cleveland can spend more than TB, and JRam is guy to pay
