Hey friends. There seem to be a ripple of mental health crises/emergencies going through the community right now. Frankly, this is understandable.

Please consider making a crisis plan NOW so you know what to do or who to contact in an emergency. It’s maybe your most important AG
I know that security makes everything more complicated, but it would be great if everyone could give SOMEONE they trust their address, license plate, medication and insurance info, emergency contacts, etc.
Cascadia has a free urgent walk-in clinic and crisis line. They have really helped several of my friends and can help make a plan to support you, with your full consent. https://cascadiabhc.org/
There are obviously other crisis lines as well, like @TransLifeline.

Hopefully you can also make a list of people in your life that you can text or call when you’re having a Rough One, or at least tell them where you’re likely to go if you’re doing extra bad.
Please remember that virtually all of us have PTSD by now, that head trauma increases suicidality, that economic and societal instability affects mental health, that Covid isolation fucks with us all, and lack of sleep doesn’t help. It’s normal to feel VERY BAD rn.
I’m just asking you to make a plan so that when you feel very very extra bad, you and the people who love you have a game plan to follow. Thank u, I love u.
Here’s a thread of resources for protesters specifically! https://twitter.com/radmental/status/1310967700458319872
Also it’s ok to take a break and it’s ok to log off!!!! The movement will still be there when u get back!!!!!!! I know it took me like 3-4 days to get out of my trauma hole every time i took break from the protests, which is why I’ve taken so many long-ass breaks. Be gentle w/ u.
