them: what are your pronouns??

me: tsi/ agi/ ga,
ini/ gini,
osdi/ ogini,
otsi/ ogi,
idi/ igi
this is why i say "any pronouns" in English... my language doesn't teach he/him, she/her, they/them... English corrupts the Indigenous identity.
i stand by Natives who reject/recreate pronouns in colonial languages. white queer academia and white queer culture creates complex language around identity, but none of that is really important as far as ancestral relationships are concerned imo. embrace your mother tongue
@ any non-white or colonized person: if you struggle with finding the pronouns that fight you perfectly in English, i understand. chances are, there are no pronouns that fully represent you because colonial languages don't account for your history/ relationships/ identity
don't dwell on finding the right words in a language that will never grasp your sacredness. im interested in hearing how you all work through these identities/ pronouns. for me its been helpful to be like "any pronouns... cuz none of them are true to me anyway"
