“Pro-life people are pro-life because they hate women and just want to control women’s bodies” is such an infuriatingly uncharitable, ill-informed, and borderline conspiratorial take.

Like yeah I’m sure there’s some cases where that’s true but that’s not what most people think.

Twitter’s “I’m so obviously correct that anybody who disagrees must be a horrible person with nefarious intent” mentality is so offensively smug while also being toxic to any productive discussions. This is but one of a thousand issues it manifests in.

And no this isn’t a subtweet, just had this on my mind because of my brief reply about this subject.
